Every Child is Special

I bought an Indian art movie last week called "tare zameen par" that touched my heart and made me laugh and cry. It illustrates so beautifully the power that a teacher or parent has to transform a child's life with love, understanding, acceptance and patience.

Part 2- Children singing for us while we planted!

1st Vegetable garden planted at Sandanezwa Educare

What a special day! We had Yvonne, Chris and Heather from Rivers Edge Community Church, and David from Liverpool who volunteered to help and we managed to clear the plot, harvest old vegetables, make the beds and plant cabbages, spinach, onions, tomatoes and beetroots. A very big thank you from Thandiwe and myself to Liziwe from Abalimin Bezekhaya who organised everything and to Pam Torry and Viva Network for the funding!
